As a part of the Training and Advocacy Team, the Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, tracking and evaluating activities related to educating the community about family violence. Assist with related activities of The Center for Family Safety and Healing.

The Center for Family Safety and Healing (TCFSH)- Adult Advocate provides advocacy, support, and case management to adults who have experienced interpersonal family violence with a particular emphasis on domestic violence, including elder abuse. The advocate works in the home and community setting as appropriate to respond to victims of interpersonal violence and participates in a multidisciplinary team approach to care. The advocate must possess sound knowledge of family violence and related systems that influence effective interventions to assure safety, referral for needed services, and coordination of care including law enforcement, prosecution, and physical and behavioral health services.

The Intake Resource Coordinator is primarily responsible for the intake, triage and referral services within the intake department. This position, consistent with Family Advocacy Clinician 1 positions, provides general child and family advocacy, interventions, counseling support and prevention services to individuals as appropriate within the intake department at TCFSH. This clinician works under the supervision of an independently licensed supervisor when relevant, within the scope of their training or licensure, and consistent with hospital policies. They uphold the fundamental principles and expectations defined in the agency partnership memorandum of understanding, and are accountable for maintaining productive partner relationships.
