The Center for Family Safety and Healing provides two primary medical services. The Child Assessment Center (CAC) provides a comprehensive approach for children who have been physically and sexually abused or neglected. Children who have been exposed to domestic violence may also be seen. These assessments may include law enforcement and/or child protective services in an effort to reduce the number of times a child has to tell his or her story of abuse.
The Fostering Connections Program is a specialized foster care clinic that offers comprehensive healthcare services to children and adolescents placed in out-of-home care.
